Our experienced team of radiology and nuclear medicine technologists are certified by the American Association of Radiology Technology and Nuclear Medicine Registration Technology. Our founder and Medical Director Dr. Ebrahim Delpassand is the former deputy chairman, associate professor, and chief of clinical nuclear medicine at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. His prestigious credentials and extensive experience include the disciplines of therapeutic nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, monoclonal antibody imaging, and positron emission tomography. Dr. Delpassand is Board Certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM), the American Board of Anatomical and Clinical Pathology (ABCAP), and is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist (CCD). He is a Fellow of the American College of Nuclear Medicine (FACNM), and a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American College of Nuclear Medicine (ACNM).

At Excel Diagnostics & Nuclear Oncology Center, we offer state of the art imaging technology with the Siemens Biograph – 16 PET/CT Scanner, The GE 1.5 Tesla MRI, the SOMATOM Sensation – 64 Slice CT Scanner, Siemens Dual detector e.Cam Gamma Camera with SPECT capability, the Phillips IU22 Ultrasoound (with 3D/ 4D capabilities), full-field Digital Mammography, X-ray and Dual X-ray Absorbtiometry (DEXA)  Bone Densitometry. These highly sophisticated systems provide the full range of imaging services including: PET/CT Scans, MRI, CT (CT64), Nuclear Medicine, 3D/4D Ultrasound, General Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, X-Ray and Bone Mineral Density (Bone Density) imaging. All our modalities are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
